Factors that impede spiritual works are numerous. But for clarity sake, these few would suffice. Normally, spiritual works carried out by Dibịas should pass the spiritual tests nowadays it does not appear so. That is why shedding more light on these factors affecting spiritual works would serve as an eye opener to both parties. Let me start with this factor as number one :
1. No Spiritual Consultation/Divination By The Dibịa:
Dibịas embark on dangerous spiritual journeys on behalf of their clients. Clients in Ọdịnanị come to a Dibịa, claiming they already did afa consultation somewhere and expect the dibịa to do certain spiritual works for them without having any spiritual consultation with the Dibịa contracted to do their personally prescribed spiritual works. NOTE: This costly mistake will cause setbacks to the Dibịa and unanswered spiritual works for the client.
2. Consulting The Wrong Deity:
Every deity like every human and everything in creation was designed for a specific function and purpose. It is not every deity that is designed for war, for wealth, for journey mercy, for purification, among others. Every deity you know of, is designed for a specific function. Hence, if you approach deity for a function which is not within its jurisdictions, you are wasting your time, except within some exceptional cases which the deity in question may decide to contract another or request you visit another with certain materials, if she must do the job for you. NOTE; don’t go to a deity because it is famous rather approach a deity, for it’s function.
3. Oversight On What Is Required Of, By A Given Deity For A Specific Task:
Try and ask questions on what the deity’s requirements for a specific task you want the deity to carry out for you. It is like transacting a business and you must stick to the bargains. Do your own part and the deities will do theirs. There is always a price tag. Find out, be sure to fulfill yours. NOTE; Never be the one to decide on what a deity wants without any spiritual consultation.
4. Being Unworthy Before Chineke, Chi, Spiritual Guides:
Everything in life is by MERIT. Merited rewards has a time factor for it to manifest on earth. According to our oath of life and how ChiUkwu wants it to be. If you committed atrocious acts like stealing, killing, abortion, sacrilege, destruction of ancestors abode, destroyed shrines etc you are unworthy before the Gods and deities! You have no moral justification to call on the Gods or deities for help. NOTE: He who must come to equity, must come with clean hands! If you are remorseful and have conscience, seek for forgiveness, purification, cleansing before anything else.
5. Hastiness:
Being in a hurry to get results from the deity is another factor to be considered. The deity can encounter hitches while carrying out a spiritual assignment. It is the work of the dibịa to be in touch with the deity and communication flow on the spiritual process will be relayed to Dibịa. Therefore, this requires patience from the person who needs the service of the deities.
NOTE : As Above, so it is Bellow.
6. Immorality:
Lots of people in Ọdịnanị, believes that it is magic. Ọdịnanị is not abracadabra. Don’t be misled by certain Spiritualists who makes you feel like your problems will disappear by mere snap of their fingers. They forget to school you on the “Ịwụ and Nsọ Ana” of Ọdịnanị/Omenala. You should not indulge in fornication, adultery, lesbianism, homosexuality etc and expect results on any spiritual works. Ọdịnanị is about NSỌ. NOTE: Be holy! Both spiritually, physically, morally and avoid setbacks during spiritual works.
7. Doubtful Mind:
I hope this doesn’t sound churchious!. But in Ọdịnanị, there is a saying “Onye Kwe Chi ya Ekwe”.. Your belief is what works for you! If you don’t believe in the efficacy of the deity, there is no need going for help! Let us assume that your mind is a fertilizer and projector of positivity. If it doesn’t resonate with your spiritual works, sincerely speaking, forget about it.
8. Disapproval From Your Spirit Guides:
We all have our various spirit guides ranging from Chi, Ndị Ichie, Aja-ani, Alusi gị, Ndị Mmiri gị, Ndị Otu gị, Agwụ gị etc. If they do not approve of certain spiritual works, kindly desist from doing or carrying them out. They can appear to you through dreams, visions, signs and pass across the message of refusal or warning.
Only the spiritually inclined can decode the message and the meaning. NOTE: Strive to be in tune with them and acknowledge when they speak to you on any issue or show disapproval over a task you lack their spiritual support.
9. Time And Season Factors:
It might not be the best time or season for such desire to be granted or challenges to be over nor awakening to happen. Probably, there are certain things to be considered in the spirit world before your season comes. It is like planting season, clearing up the farm comes first, burning the grasses, tilling the ground, planting season, watering, sprouting, growth, flowering, maturity, harvesting are processes that one must undergo! NOTE: Lessons are learned and gotten from any experience/spiritual development in life.
10. Being Too Loquacious:
Many talk a lot about spiritual things. Both the ones they know and do not know or have any information/ experience about. Without spiritual consultation/divination /Counseling from some spiritualists. Even when spiritual works is done for you, please keep your mouth shut. Do not reveal your spiritual source to unknown enemies by running your mouth anyhow. Or tell people what materials were used to solve your problems. Spiritual materials/works are not recipes to be exchanged with anyone or OFEKE. Materials used to solve Mr A problem is not the same that will solve Mr B’s. NOTE: Spiritual works done for someone (to counter an evil spell) can be rendered ineffective by one with evil intention, who has power and vast knowledge of spiritual works in the spirit realm.
11. Witchcraft: When negative energies surrounds one who has not being spiritually, thoroughly cleansed. This could be caused by any form of attack or jinx projected spiritually, or the person has been marked spiritually and covered with a dark veil.
12. Incomplete spiritual items: During any spiritual work, the afa consultation will reveal items that are needed to make sure that the work goes well. If they are not complete, the work risk being not accepted or repeated.
13. Spiritual uncleanness: Both Dibịa and client ought to be in the right frame of mind and spiritual purity. It is not after having sex, persons involved will embark on doing spiritual works. It will not be accepted. They are considered impure and stink. Abortion, killing, incest, Adultery, Homosexuality, Lesbianism among other evil vices can hindered spiritual works.
14. Spiritual items that are not meant to be include: Over sabi by the Dibịa or client. I have seen where some clients direct the Dibịa on what to do for them, spiritual works that were never given directly by Afa. In a bid to please their client, they include unnecessary items not needed for the spiritual work.
15. Destruction Of Ancestral Abode, Shrines: Places like Okwu Mmụọ , Akwali Ọmụmụ will warrant the spiritual guides to do what we term “Mmụọ ịgba mmadụ uchu”. As long as, this is counted as a heavy offense spiritually and physically, no spiritual works done by the offender will go through. Perpetual stagnation is always the result, till they conduct the deep cleansing of “Ịkpụ Alụ and ịkọchi Onunu”, Appeasement etc.
