Every spiritual person needs an altar. Everyone need an altar to connect. An altar must not be the one where one kill animals.
Altar may not be the big one because a chosen person need many altars to connect.
But anyone that is not chosen to serve nature and humanity also need altar to connect to his or her ancestors.
Therefore note that your Ancestors are in your DNA you cannot run away from them.
FOR A NORMAL INDOOR ALTAR:
👉 A table or floor space or shelf.
👉 White cloth like 1or 2 yards.
👉 Get Candles
👉 Candle stand.
👉 Flowers
👉 Incense
👉 Photos of a Goddess or Gods of the river. One can use their late ancestors picture could be the good grandmother, grand parents or your own picture. Stop putting people from other race pictures in the name of ancestral representations. This will appear as if they are being worshipped by ignorant black people. Put up pictures and images that represents what you look like, if you are African, Asian, White etc.

👉 Toys,
👉 Mirror.
Or the one your spirit direct you to put. When all these items are ready, please smudge or sage them (Use sage to wash the white cloth, salt is a sage, ogilisi is a sage, garlic and Nchuanwu are all sages) or use alligator pepper to cleanse every items assembled to be on the altar.
Always pray at the altar. Have and use the right colour of candles suitable for a specific prayer, to enable you connect fast to different prayer requests.
Remember spirits are attracted to you or your household when they see altar therefore make a simple altar where you connect to your ancestors and spirit guides.
